Designed by award-winning international CHYBIK + KRISTOF ARCHITECTS, the project features a flexible configuration to suit varying event capacities and requirements —from an intimate Esports setup to a 25,000-seat boxing layout.
The ambitious development will integrate a striking multifunctional tower containing a hotel, residences, and community spaces.
Basketball
With the NBA planning a new Europe-based league expected to launch in 2027 or 2028, London and Manchester have been identified as flagship cities. While the London franchise bidding is yet to conclude, plans for this new large-scale venue in London are being announced.
Boxing
Capitalising on the East End's heritage as the historic home of boxing, the venue is being widely supported by global boxing promoters, including Queensberry Promotions and Matchroom.
This purpose-built arena offers a unique opportunity to build a venue that can compete with other global sports centres and provide year-round boxing.
Esports
Tapping into a market of over 1 billion spectators, the 25,000-seat arena is tailored to host major international tournament finals.
By linking London’s growing reputation as a gaming capital to the explosive gaming market in the Middle East and the Far East, the venue will become a central hub for the future of competitive gaming.
Academy
The project establishes an integral link between elite professional competition and grassroots athlete development. The main 25,000-seat arena will be directly connected to a new London Bowl Academy – a purpose-built venue of two arenas of 3,000-seat capacity each, and a training campus.
This secondary site will house a dedicated basketball school, the historic Peacock Boxing Gym & Academy, and an international esports training campus – developed in partnership with a leading London performance sport university. The partnership will provide elite athlete development pathways, educational support, and cutting-edge research, ensuring a continuous pipeline of sporting talent across all three disciplines.
